Game Making: Storytelling and Design - Summer Camps

What goes into making a video game? Many different things: character design, programming, graphics and art, writing, interactivity, physics, lighting, animation… and a lot more. Attendees will explore the various roles involved and the skills required as they work towards building their own simple game. They will work through the design process to create and plan their story, and then get hands-on with some coding fundamentals as they bring it all to life. This is a camp for kids interested in both new media design and programming.  Registration required.  Ages 9+.
