Let's Talk About Reconciliation Film Dialogue - Redskins, Tricksters and Puppy Stew

This 60 min movie is about the power of humour in healing in Indigenous communities.   Featuring an engaging cast of characters, the film is an in-depth, laugh-a-minute tour of complex issues like identity, politics, and racism.  (2000, NR, 54 minutes).

This series pairs a film screening from the National Film Board of Canada’s collection with a conversation to help discover the realities, history and cultures of Indigenous peoples. Led by Karl Dockstader and Sean VanderKlis, hosts of the One Dish, One Mic podcast, these dialogues bring Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples together in a spirit of openness and mutual discovery, showcasing the rich Indigenous culture and history, while educating on the realities and aspirations of Indigenous peoples.
