The Memory Project - A Veteran's Story

Please join us in welcoming Major Steve Giberson, Reserve Infantry Officer, Canadian Army. Major Giberson will be speaking virtually about his personal experiences as part of the Regular Force and the Canadian Army Reserve. The program will be held virtually through Google Meets. More information will be shared once you have registered. 

Major Giberson is a Class A (Part-Time) Reserve Infantry Officer with the Brockville Rifles in Brockville, ON. Major Giberson transitioned to the Canadian Army Reserve in 2017 after completing 26 years of service in the Regular Force. During his professional military career, Steve was an armour officer with the Royal
Canadian Dragoons (RCD) and later on in his career was selected for employment with the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM) as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Officer. During this time, Steve saw foreign deployments to Bosnia, Eastern Europe, West Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia.
